MOI PRIMARY SCHOOL – KABARAK

A WORD FROM THE DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Moi Primary School – Kabarak prides itself in academic excellence, prowess in co-curricular activities intertwined with a Biblical approach in all our programmes. To achieve these, this office, apart from deputizing the head teacher oversees proper management and maintenance of our physical resources.

Human resource plays a very important role in the achievement of successful output. As such, we endeavor to promote collective responsibility alongside personal responsibility and enhance a sense of belonging to all our teaching and non-teaching staff. We desire that each of us feels part of every little success that comes our way.

In the words of Gary Keller, “Success is actually a short race, a spirit fueled by discipline just long enough for habit to kick in and take over”. Our Christian Bible based programmes play a big role in shaping discipline.

These programmes range from morning devotions pastoral programmes, guiding and counseling Christian unions to dorm and class meetings.

This office co-ordinates and implements disciplinary committee resolutions which are complemented by the school rules and regulations. The disciplinary committee is chaired by the Deputy Headteacher and comprises the senior teachers and guiding and counselling master/mistress. We are keen on raising learners who are whole and self-driven.

Our prefect’s body represents the administration in all areas of their operation and this helps in enforcing good mannerism a peaceful co-existence through this, they are mentored in leadership through the discharge of their duties and regular meetings for feedback.

In the words of Aristotle “We are what we repeatedly do; excellence then is not an act but a habit.” I need not say that excellence is our habit at Kabarak.

Indeed, ‘On Earth We Rise’.

MR. MUTENDE DANIEL A.
